The Griffin Fund campaign is now raising funds for our school, here is how to donate. As a school community we must raise $340,000 this year to fund critical programs including music, reading coaches, recess supervisors, Fall Carnival, Spring Thing, classroom supplies, field trips, library, & more. We are asking families to contribute $550 per student, and donations of any amount make a difference. Return those blue envelopes, and ask your employer if they have a charitable giving matching policy.

We’re very excited to announce that we will be holding the Glenview Book Fair from February 21 through February 26 this year. That means we'll be transforming our little library into a magical bookstore, complete with children's books and a table of adult cookbooks and more. Swing by for in-person shopping on Saturday 2/25 from 11am to 4pm. The Edna Brewer Jazz Ensemble will be playing, and there will be a Taco Truck! At Glenview Elementary. All community members are invited to buy books too. Every purchase earns books for the Glenview library.

The Read-a-Thon 22 results are in and Glenview Elementary joined together to have a huge success! The school raised a total of $115,807 and read 450,954 minutes! We received donations and reading minutes from every single class at school. It was a short campaign (one week instead of on month), and we did not meet our goal of $130,000, but we think we did great considering the circumstances. Your student will bring home a Read-a-thon packet that includes information about the fundraiser and your student's reading log.
