After-School and Before-School Care
Glenview's before-school and after-school are provided by Bay Area Community Resources (BACR). This is a separate program that is not run by the Glenview staff. You can create an account and learn more at BACR.org.
From BACR:
BACR is a regional nonprofit agency and our mission over the last 40 years has been to promote the healthy development of youth and families, encourage service and volunteerism, and build strong, collaborative and equitable communities. We have been providing academic support, enrichment, and physical activity based programming across the Bay Area since our inception and in Oakland since 2004.
We are currently Oakland's largest after school provider. Our ELP mission statement is to “Empower Youth to Excel, Lead and Succeed”. To those ends, we promote young people’s holistic development by providing opportunities for them to acquire new skills, engage in creative learning, help plan and implement activities, and make meaningful contributions within their communities.
We would love for you to take a moment to check out our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/bacrdotorg/ and our Instagram @bacr_expandedlearning
